- Vowels have 2 Sownds:-
- - Sownd 1 is a harsher and shorter sownd.
- - Sownd 2 is a longer, lower, and softer, sownd.
- (In English:- mat/mate; met/meet; dot/dote; mit/might; mut/mute.
- In PI Vowel Sownd 2 is identified by dubling of th vowel, so we hav maat; meet; doot; miit; muut. )
- 6 Thaar r No c or q in PI words.
- In English th c 1 Sownd is a k (e.g. Tonik) wilst th c 2 sownd is an s (e.g. sentuury) .
- c only appears in th ch connected sound for ChuurCH, paCH etc and Singul Letter c for see and C for sea.
- Q is nearly alwaays riten with a U in English, but it is a K 1 Sound in PI with a w so yuu hav kwikly; Kween.
- 7 Consonents r only "DUBLD" wen theer is a definiit dubling of th sownd. e.g. bizzy (biz-zy) and fluffy (fluf-fy).

- A. The aim of PI is too b totaly reguulaar. Thaair are No speshul sownds to lurn apart from th Joynd Konected Sownds in Rule 9 .
- B. In muusik a set of nowts always has th saam sownd. In PI a set of leturs always has th saam sownd e.g. Tort will alwaays sownd and b riten as tort (in English it can be riten as tort, taut, taught, torte).
- C In English a word can hav moor than won sownd e.g.:-
- " Minute” kan meen 1/60th of an owr or sumthing very smoorl.
- “ Row” kan refer to a bowt or arguument.
- "Present" has several meanings -tiim, introwduuc, gift.
- This is impossible in PI waair yuu wud hav:-
- “Minit” as a unit of tiim. ( bowth “i”s in Sownd 1) “Miinuut” for small (“i” and “u” bowth in sownd 2)
- Yuu “row” a bowt and “roow” abowt hoo dus it rong.
- Present for a gift and Preesent for introduus.

- X is also a sownd in its own riit eg. Xit, Xsiit. Xtend
- E Personal Naams liik everything els follow th PI Ruuls, but it kan immeediaatly be folloowed by th English naam in brakets and italikcs e.g. from Dad's Armi Kaptin Manering ("Mainwairing") .
